Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom!
This one is for you!
What's good, my people? I’m excited to share the story behind the development of this blog—a dedication to my incredible mother. She was a talented chef with dreams of opening her sandwich shop. Sadly, she never found the time to pursue that dream, always putting others before herself and encouraging those around her to strive for greatness.
When I visited her at work, I was always struck by how much her culinary students adored her. They raved about her down-to-earth teaching style and how she pushed them to be the best they could be. Her passion for cooking and unwavering support for her students left a lasting impact on all of us.
In her honor, this periodical is designed to spotlight entrepreneurs, provide valuable resources, and share inspiring journeys. It’s my way of helping others pursue their dreams, just as she did. Each issue will feature three entrepreneurs, a number that holds deep significance in my life.
You’ll notice that the primary color of this newsletter is yellow—it was my mom’s favorite. The number three is woven throughout our family narrative. I’m a third-generation Fellers, and with my daughter, I’m the last to carry on the family name. My sister and I were also born three years, three days, and three hours apart, a fun fact that always brings a smile to my face.
Additionally, only three immediate family members are left in my life: my wife (who I lovingly refer to as my girlfriend, the commander, and my best friend), my daughter, and my sister. Finally, my mom lost her battle with cancer just three days before her birthday, making the number three even more special and poignant for me.
So, with this newsletter, I hope to honor her legacy, celebrate entrepreneurship, and connect with all of you who share a passion for following your dreams. I truly hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
